EfoodBid uses limited information to deliver requested food alerts, understand on-site activity, secure the service, and measure outbound shop interest.

Email alerts

Confirm your email before a new subscription or preference change takes effect. EfoodBid stores your email, selected interests, signup context, and delivery history. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Every discovery email includes an unsubscribe option.

My pantry

Your saved product IDs, Want to try or Tried it status, and optional cravings stay in this browser by default. Clearing browser data removes that copy. If you create a private pantry link, EfoodBid also stores those choices on its server for access across devices, protected by a random secret link. No email is required. Anyone with the link can view and change that pantry, so keep it private. The server copy expires after 180 days without changes; disconnecting a browser does not delete other copies. Opening your pantry requests current public product details.

Site measurement

Discovery measurement is off by default. If you enable it in My pantry, EfoodBid counts visits, saves, tried items, tasting-flight saves, pantry connections and merchant clicks using a hashed random browser identifier. These records exclude email addresses, food preferences and private pantry links, and expire after 90 days. Turn it off anytime in My pantry. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also prevent this optional measurement. The service separately retains basic security logs and outbound-link records; clicks are not proof of purchases or commissions.
